Additionally, students have the option to enhance these visual markers with descriptive text, offering further context to their observations.

The application meticulously records vital information including the location, images, icons, and descriptions, alongside voluntary demographic details. This comprehensive data collection aims to accurately illustrate and analyze students’ insights regarding safety in different areas of their community.

“Danger Zones” is a product of collaboration funded by the Georgia Department of Public Health under a corporate agreement (CDC-RFA-CE19-1902) with the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC).
